Where to find TV Classics on DVD

Do TV shows like Good Times, Tennessee Tuxedo, The Goldbergs or The Carol Brunett Show bring back childhood nostalgia.  Chances are if you watched it,  you can now get the entire collection on DVD.

I personally love the classics.  From Leave it to Beaver to HIYA, Kids, I can sit in front of the TV all day and watch classics.  The problem is where do you find even the most obscure classic shows.

After riffling the Internet looking for classical DVD’s, I found them in several places.  The first and most obvious place for finding anything is eBay…and yes TV Classic DVD’s can be found there readily.  One problem through and word of warning when purchasing DVD’s through eBay.  A lot of the time the DVD’s are burned…which means they are likely produced on a home computer or laptop and may or may not work on your TV.

The 2nd option is to buy the TV Classics on a feed from a place like hulu.com or through iTunes.  This is beneficial if you ant to by the show on a “per episode” basis, however it doesn’t give you a “personal” copy….rather a digital version that feeds directly to your computer, xbox/playstation, or TV.

The best place to find the “REAL” box set of TV Classics on DVD is amazon.  Amazon is by far the cheapest place as they offer a medium for merchants to sell product, compete, and often times have much cheaper “barely used” copies.   I do suggest that if you are looking for TV Classics on DVD and you want to real box set or copy, you check out Amazon.com.
